Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal in three-way battle for £40m Jamaican winger

Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal are competing to sign Leon Bailey, according to reports.

The 20-year old Jamaican is hot property in the Bundesliga right now, with 10 goals and five assists for Bayer Leverkusen so far this season, helping them to fourth place in the table.

However, the German club are determined to hold onto their prize asset, after signing him on a five-year contract from Genk last January.

“Well now the time starts again when there is some insane talk,” admitted sporting director Jonas Boldt. “There is no offer for Leon. We have absolutely no thought of selling him.

“He has a contract until 2022 – and we are on the driver’s seat.”
