Family of Emile Heskey are missing after Hurricane Irma struck the Caribbean last week.
The former Liverpool and England striker’s parents are safe in Antigua, but there has been no word from other relatives in Barbuda.
“My mum can’t get hold of them,” he said. “My mum and dad were fortunately lucky. They caught the tail end of it.
“But my mum’s family is from Barbuda and they were basically wiped out. Everything is gone.”
