Lautaro Martinez is on the verge of signing a new Inter Milan contract, despite rumours linking him with a move to the Premier League.
The Argentinian forward’s current deal at the San Siro is due to expire in 2026 and, despite his agent holding talks with Chelsea and Manchester United, it now looks like he is going to agree a new long-term deal with the Serie A club.
“Lautaro has stated on several occasions that he wants to be here for a long time,” Inter CEO Beppe Marotta said recently. “He’s a player we want to be at the centre of our project for both the present and the future.
“We’re certain that when the will on both sides is to continue on together, then it becomes very simple.”
