Stoke City have made Quique Sanchez Flores their preferred choice for the manager’s job, according to reports.
Stoke representatives have met the 52-year-old former Watford manager as they seek a replacement for Mark Hughes, who was sacked on Saturday.
Flores is under contract with Espanyol until 2019, but has a release clause in his deal.
