Newcastle boss issues concerning injury update on Tino Livramento

Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has admitted the knee injury sustained by Tino Livramento in the midweek cup win over Fulham does not look good for the defender.

Speaking to the press on Thursday, Howe expressed significant concern for the young full-back, who was forced off during the final stages of Newcastle’s Carabao Cup quarter-final victory.

Livramento has a history of serious knee issues, and the club is currently awaiting scan results to determine the extent of the damage.

In more positive news for the Magpies, Lewis Hall is expected to return for the upcoming clash against Chelsea after missing the midweek fixture with a minor hamstring niggle.
