Sesko double not enough as Manchester United draw at Burnley

Life after Ruben Amorim began with a frantic 2-2 draw for Manchester United against struggling Burnley on Wednesday night.

Interim head coach Darren Fletcher handed a start to the returning Bruno Fernandes, but the Red Devils got off to a nightmare start when Ayden Heaven diverted a cross into his own net.

United dominated much of the possession and were rewarded in the second half when Benjamin Sesko scored twice in ten minutes to turn the game around.

However, the lead was short-lived as Jaidon Anthony curled a stunning equalizer into the top corner to earn the Clarets a vital point.

A late effort from United youngster Shea Lacey struck the crossbar, but the visitors could not find a winner. The result leaves United in seventh place, while the Clarets remain eight points adrift of safety in 19th position.
