Manchester United agree Jude Bellingham summer transfer in principle

Reports emerging from Spain today suggest that Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham has given the green light for a blockbuster move to Manchester United ahead of the 2026 summer transfer window.

The England international, currently sidelined with a hamstring injury, is said to have agreed to the switch on the condition that Real Madrid appoint Jurgen Klopp as their next permanent manager.

Klopp has been heavily tipped to succeed Alvaro Arbeloa at the Bernabeu, and Bellingham reportedly fears his influence in the Spanish capital would diminish under the former Liverpool boss.

United, currently fourth in the Premier League under Michael Carrick, are eager to make a statement signing as they prepare for a return to the Champions League.

While the deal remains speculative, the agreement in principle marks the first significant step in what would be one of the most expensive transfers in British football history.
