Igor Tudor to leave Tottenham imminently

The tenure of Igor Tudor at Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly coming to an end following the club’s demoralising 3-0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

The loss has left Spurs languishing in 17th place, just a single point above the relegation zone, and has prompted the hierarchy to seek a new direction before the season resumes.

The situation is deeply personal for Tudor, who was informed of the death of his father, Mario, shortly after the final whistle against Forest.

Sources suggest that both parties have aligned on a mutual parting of the ways to allow the Croatian to return home.

Former Brighton boss, Roberto De Zerbi has emerged as a primary candidate to take the reins for the final seven matches, though the club is also reportedly considering a short-term “firefighter” appointment to secure their Premier League status and avoid a catastrophic drop to the Championship.
