Arsenal ran out 4-2 winners at Aston Villa, in Saturday’s early Premier League game.
Two stoppage-time goals sealed the victory as an unfortunate error from Villa keeper Emi Martinez gave the Gunners the lead and Gabriel Martinelli put the result beyond doubt.
“We can take two big lessons,” said Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta after the final whistle. “In the first half we did the simple things wrong and in the second half we raised our individual level and did the simple things right.
“We totally merited the win.”
