Huddersfield Town Association Football Club, known as The Terriers, is a professional football club based in West Yorkshire. Founded in 1908, Huddersfield Town quickly rose through the ranks of English football, joining the Football League in 1910. The club’s golden era came under manager Herbert Chapman in the 1920s, when Huddersfield became the first club to win the English league title three consecutive times (1923–24, 1924–25, 1925–26)—a feat still matched by only a few clubs. Huddersfield also won the FA Cup in 1922 and reached the final on several other occasions.

After their early successes, Huddersfield experienced periods in lower divisions but remained a resilient presence in English football. The club famously returned to the top flight, spending two seasons in the Premier League from 2017 to 2019 after a memorable promotion campaign led by David Wagner. They play at the John Smith’s Stadium in the town.
