Mark Hughes’ Stoke City future is becoming increasingly uncertain.
The Welshman’s position as manager hangs in the balance followinh Monday’s defeat to Newcastle United.
When asked about his position, he qupiied: “”Who else is going to do it? In terms of the knowledge of the group and the progress in my time here, I’m the best person to do it.”
However, it is believed that if Stoke don’t beat Coventry City in the FA Cup on Saturday, Hughes will be on his way.
Roberto Mancini is already the bookied favourite to take over, at 9-2.
