Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku will not be charged by the FA for kicking out at Brighton defender Gaetan Bong.
Referee Neil Swarbrick missed the incident in the 1-0 win to United on Saturday, but a panel of Premier League referee’s decided on Monday that, as the incident was not a sending off offence, no action should be taken.
The Belgian international escapes a three-match domestic ban which would have seen him miss Premier League games against Watford, Arsenal and Man City.
