Chelsea have told Romelu Lukaku he will be allowed to join Inter Milan on loan if the deal works for them.
According to The Guardian, Thomas Tuchel has no intention of standing in Lukaku’s way and Chelsea’s new owners, Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital, are trying to find a solution with the Italian club.
Inter cannot afford to sign him on a permanent transfer and Chelsea could demand a £25m loan fee and the Italian club cover the Belgian international’s £325k-a-week wages.
