Romelu Lukaku has wasted no time letting everyone know his delight at returning to Inter Milan.
Inter have agreed to pay Chelsea a loan fee of about €8m for the Belgian striker who they sold to for a record £97.m less than a year ago.
Lukaku was out of favour with incoming boss Thomas Tuchel from the outset and it was only a matter of time before he left. Now he is happy to be back in Italy and its quite likely his move will become permanent at the end of the season.
“Inter have given me so much and I hope now to do even better than before,” he said.
“I didn’t even leave my home when I went to England, which shows how happy I am to be back here.”
