Nemanja Matic’s move to Manchester United will be completed very soon, if photos circulating on social media are to be believed.
According to Sky, a £40m fee has been agreed with Chelsea and the Serbian defender can’t wait to sign for Jose Mourinho, according to the Special One.
“I’m waiting for news,” he said. “I know that he wants that very, very much and when a player wants very, very much the chance is bigger.
“So I think we have a chance but in football until it’s official, I have seen so many things happen that I refuse to say more than I am telling you now.”
Mourinho may not be counting his chickens, but Matic certainly is, apparently posing for a photo in a United shirt, although there is some doubt on Twitter that it has been Photoshopped.
If the deal does go through, the 28-year-old will become the third new signing at Old Trafford this summer, following the arrivals of Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku.
