Sol Campbell issues Champions League warning to newly-crowned Arsenal

As Mikel Arteta’s squad finalizes tactical preparations for Saturday’s blockbuster Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain, invincible legend Sol Campbell has urged the Arsenal squad to remain grounded.

Arsenal secured their first Premier League title in 22 years last weekend, but Campbell warned that a hyper-disciplined PSG side enters the showpiece as narrow favourites.

“You need to strike while the iron’s hot,” he said. “You don’t know when you’re going to have that same beautiful run to the final.

“We’ve got an incredible defence, they’ve got incredible forwards, but after winning the league there is slightly less pressure on Arsenal. It’s still not going to be easy.”

Prime Minister Keir Starmer has publicly requested that TNT Sports make the final completely free-to-view for the British public, adding to the immense national hype.

For Arsenal, the match offers a shot at an immortal domestic-and-continental double, though Campbell stressed that the psychological load of the recent, 200-day stretch at the top of the league table will test their mental endurance to the absolute limit.
