Newcastle United have pulled off a massive coup in their bid to replace the Barcelona-bound Anthony Gordon.
Osasuna’s highly-coveted winger Victor Munoz, currently away on World Cup duty with Spain, has officially knocked back formal inquiries from both Manchester United and Liverpool.
According to reports from Spain this morning, Munoz has specifically chosen a move to St James’ Park over Europe’s elite.
The 22-year-old winger has informed his representatives that his absolute priority is guaranteed first-team minutes to kickstart the next stage of his career, a luxury Eddie Howe’s recruitment team can completely assure following Gordon’s departure.
