Porto have confirmed that they have agreed to sell Fabio Vieira to Arsenal for €40m.
Arsenal will pay an initial €35m for the 22-year-old midfielder, plus add-ons.
Vieira scored six goals and provided 14 assists in 27 league games as Porto won the Primeira Liga.
He will become the Gunners’ third summer signing, following the arrival of US goalkeeper Matt Turner and Brazilian forward Marquinhos.
