Arsenal step up pursuit of Brahim Diaz

Arsenal have reportedly submitted a £44 million bid for Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz as Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his squad for the final title push.

The former Man City man, who has been in sparkling form for Morocco at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, is said to be “open” to a Premier League return.

“Brahim fits exactly what we are looking for—versatility, creativity, and a high footballing IQ,” a source close to the club suggested.

With Leandro Trossard’s future uncertain and the Gunners holding a six-point lead at the top of the table, the signing of Diaz is seen as a strategic move to secure Arsenal’s first league title in over two decades.

Real Madrid are expected to respond to the offer within the next 48 hours.
