Arsenal’s title charge suffered a catastrophic blow last night as they drew 2-2 with bottom-of-the-table Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Despite holding a 2-0 lead until the 60th minute thanks to goals from Bukayo Saka and Piero Hincapie, the Gunners collapsed in dramatic fashion.
The equaliser came in the 94th minute via a nightmare defensive mix-up between David Raya and Gabriel, resulting in a Riccardo Calafiori own goal.
In doing so, Arsenal became the first league leaders in Premier League history to drop points against a 20th-placed side after leading by two goals in the second half.
While they remain top, Manchester City now sit just five points behind with a game in hand.
