Liverpool head coach Arne Slot confirmed this morning that Alexander Isak is finally back on the grass.
The Premier League’s record £125m signing has been out since the Tottenham game in December with a broken fibula and is yet to play a single minute of football in 2026.
While Slot cautioned that Isak is currently only wearing “running shoes” and not football boots, he confirmed the striker is targeting a competitive return in late March or early April.
With Liverpool currently 6th and struggling for clinical finishing, the news provides a light at the end of the tunnel for the defending champions.
