Mohamed Salah to leave Liverpool at the end of the season

Liverpool have officially confirmed that legendary forward Mohamed Salah will bring his illustrious nine-year stay at Anfield to a close this summer.

The “Egyptian King” has reached an agreement with the club to depart at the end of the 2025/26 campaign, marking the end of an era for the Merseyside giants.

Since joining from Roma in 2017, Salah has become the third-highest goalscorer in the club’s history, netting 255 goals across all competitions and winning every major trophy available.

The announcement comes after a season of mixed fortunes under Arne Slot, including a public fallout over the winter period.

However, both parties have expressed a desire for transparency to allow supporters to celebrate his legacy properly before he bids farewell.

While his next destination remains unconfirmed, heavy speculation suggests the 33-year-old will become the marquee signing for the Saudi Pro League later this year.
