Arsenal crowned Premier League champions at Selhurst Park

The 22-year wait is officially over for Arsenal fans around the world.

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have been crowned Premier League champions, sealing the title ahead of the final day after Manchester City’s slip up against Bournemouth earlier in the week.

The Gunners celebrated their coronation with a heavily-rotated squad, defeating Crystal Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park following a guard of honour from the hosts.

Gabriel Jesus and Noni Madueke provided the goals to cap off a historic campaign.

Captain Martin Odegaard was visibly emotional as he lifted the trophy, describing the achievement as an unreal feeling after years of near misses.

Arteta’s men will now immediately pivot to next week’s highly anticipated Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain in pursuit of an immortal double.
