This historic fixture marks Coventry’s return to the top flight after a 25-year absence.
The action continues on Saturday with an all-London encounter as Brentford host Tottenham in the late afternoon slot.
Sunday will offer a triple-header of live action, starting with Manchester City welcoming Bournemouth to the Etihad Stadium.
Simultaneously, Brighton and Hove Albion will take on Aston Villa, with both matches kicking off at 2pm.
The headline fixture of Sunday afternoon sees Newcastle United host Liverpool at St James Park, showcasing Andoni Iraola’s first competitive match in charge of the Reds.
The opening round of broadcasted fixtures concludes on Monday night with another capital derby, as Xabi Alonso leads Chelsea against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
As part of the current television rights agreement, Sky Sports will broadcast at least 215 live games this season, plus its Sunday afternoon multi-view option, allowing fans to track multiple matches at the same time.
