Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement with Atletico Madrid to sign Julian Alvarez.
The deal will see the newly-crowned Premier League champions pay a fixed €50m (£42.2m) fee for the 26-year-old forward, with Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres heading in the opposite direction to join the La Liga club.
Mikel Arteta is incredibly eager to wrap up the operation early to form a devastating frontline pairing alongside Kai Havertz ahead of the new season kicking off in August.
