Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has addressed rumors linking him to the Manchester City job, insisting he is fully committed to his long-term project at Stamford Bridge.
During his Friday morning press conference, Enzo Maresca was asked directly about reports identifying him as a potential successor to Pep Guardiola.
The Italian, who previously worked as an assistant under Guardiola, labeled the talk as 100% speculation. He emphasized that he is currently focused on the upcoming trip to Newcastle and highlighted his contract with Chelsea which runs until 2029.
Maresca also noted that he has had discussions with the Chelsea hierarchy following his controversial comments after the Everton game, though he kept the details of those conversations private.
