Roy Hodgson is back at Crystal Palace after parting ways with the club in July 2021.
Back then he led the Eagles on a 12-match winless run and was sacked and replaced by Patrick Vieira.
Now the former Arsenal legend has left and memories have faced, Palace have turned to the 75-year-old to save them from relegation.
Although on the surface they appear to be safe in 12th place, they are only three points ahead of third from bottom West Ham and have played two more games than them.
“It is a privilege to be asked to return to the club, which has always meant so much to me,” said Hodgson. “Our sole objective now is to start winning matches, and to get the points necessary to ensure our Premier League status.”
