Is Potter on his way out of Chelsea?

Graham Potter’s days as Chelsea manager may be numbered.

Having won only two of their last 14 games, the former Brighton boss is on shaky ground. He’s reportedly missed the last two days of training and apparently still has the support of chairman Todd Boehly and the club’s board – something that nearly always precedes a sacking.

Chelsea splashed the cash big time in the January transfer window, to the tune of £323m, with £106.8m spent on Fernandez and £88m on Mykhailo Mudryk.

It’s still too early to judge whether this was money well spent, but there’s not a lot of patience at Stamford Bridge right now.

The Blues are next in action at fourth-placed Tottenham on Sunday. If they lose then maybe it’ll be Potter’s last game in charge.
