Liverpool have reached a deal with Portuguese club Benfica to sign Darwin Nunez.
Benfica have confirmed that a fee of 75m euros (£64m), rising to a potential 100m euros (£85m) with add-ons, has been agreed for the 22-year-old.
The Uruguay striker scored 34 times in 41 games for Benfica last season and is the goalscoring marksman Liverpool need after failing to score a single goal in three finals last term.
With Sadio Mane looking to be on his way to Bayern Munich, this would be a great move for Jurgen Klopp’s men as they look to strengthen over the summer.
