Manchester clubs locked in £106m Elliot Anderson war

Manchester United and Manchester City are locked in a high-stakes, multi-million pound bidding war to sign Nottingham Forest‘s exceptionally-talented midfielder Elliot Anderson.

Reports suggest that valuation figures have officially surpassed the £106m mark as both Manchester giants try to complete a marquee deal before the summer window officially opens on Monday 15 June.

City are pushing hard to fill voids left by departing senior players, while United view Anderson as a dream addition to Michael Carrick’s developing system.
