Sadio Mané could be out of action for six weeks after picking up a hamstring injury while on international duty.
The 25-year-old was substituted in the 89th minute of Senegal’s 2-0 World Cup qualifying win over Cape Verde on Saturday.
Liverpool Football Club have confirmed that he will definitely miss Saturday’s Premier League clash with Manchester United and its highlly likely he will be out of action until the meeting with Premier League champions Chelsea at Anfield on 25th November.
The news will be a major blow for manager Jurgen Klopp, who has struggled with injuries to Nathaniel Clyne and Adam Lallana as the Reds have disappointed during September.
