Aston Villa have signed Robin Olsen from Roma on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 32-year-old Swedish goalkeeper spent the second half of last season on loan at Villa Park, but only made his debut in the final day defeat against Man City.
Olsen has 57 caps for his country and will be an experienced pair of hands for Steven Gerrard’s team going into next season.
