Richarlison rescues Spurs as Igor Tudor finally earns a point

Tottenham Hotspur produced one of their most spirited performances of the season to snatch a 1-1 draw against Liverpool at Anfield.

In a match where Spurs were missing twelve first team players due to an unprecedented injury crisis, interim boss Igor Tudor finally secured his first point since taking charge.

Liverpool looked destined for victory after Dominik Szoboszlai curled home a brilliant first half free kick that slipped past Guglielmo Vicario.

However, Spurs refused to buckle and found a dramatic equaliser in the 90th minute.

Richarlison, who had been thwarted by Alisson on several occasions, finally found the net after Andrew Robertson and Virgil van Dijk failed to deal with a long ball from Vicario.

The result was a bitter pill for Liverpool, who were booed off by the home crowd as they missed the chance to move into the top four.

For Spurs, the point moves them one clear of the relegation zone, providing a much needed morale boost ahead of their crucial “six pointer” against Nottingham Forest next weekend.
