James Maddison will have a medical at Tottenham on Wednesday as the Leicester City midfielder closes in on a £40m move.
The two clubs have agreed a fee so it’s now just a matter of time before his move is finalised.
The 26-year-old has won three caps for England and made 203 appearances for Leicester since joining from Norwich in 2018, scoring 55 goals and providing 41 assists in his time at the club.
However, once the Foxes were relegated at the end of last season it was only a matter of time before he moved on and, despite interest from Newcastle, it now looks like he’ll be plying his trade at Spurs next season.
