Jesus agreed Arsenal switch

Gabriel Jesus has agreed a five-year deal to join Arsenal from Manchester City.

The 25-year-old Brazilian striker will move for a fee of £45m following an agreement between the two clubs.

The arrival of Erling Haaland to the Etihad has pushed Jesus back in the pecking order at the club and a summer move was inevitable, with Tottenham also interested in signing him.

Jesus scored 58 goals in 159 games for City since his arrival from Palmeiras in 2017.

He becomes Arsenal’s fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Marquinhos, Matt Turner and Fábio Vieira.
