Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp responds to the latest transfer rumours circulating about Philippe Coutinho.
Reports in the Spanish press claim that the 25-year-old Brazilian midfielder would be willing to strike if he is refused a transfer to Barcelona.
Coutinho is currently not training because of a ‘back injury’ and its clear that relations between himself and the club have broken down since he submitted his transfer request last week.
However, Klopp insists that, as far as he is aware, there are no talks going on between the two clubs, and continues to insist he is injured.
“Nothing to say from my side, I don’t know why other people are saying what they are saying,” Klopp said. “No news from me because nobody told me any different.
“We are all not silly and we know its a very difficult situation but there’s nothing new to say, but its not always easy but that’s how it is at the moment. Nothing else.
