Manchester City and United battle it out for Dutch defender

Man City and Man United are both keen on Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong.

The 23-year-old Dutchman has a £35m release clause in his contract that can only be activated this summer, apparently.

City appear to be favourites, with Pep Guardiola on the lookout for a replacement for Kyle Walker next season, but Sir Jim Ratcliffe is expected to give Erik ten Hag a massive budget to bring in the players needed for United to return to the top.
